Excel Nerd

Ok so we have our check book register in excel, checking, savings, gas card, our cafeteria plan from work, anything and everything financial is in excel. That's the way Cory's brain works-excel.-- So I always bug him about his psychotic spreadsheets and how he can't live with out them (I kinda don't blame him -I mean hey-that's what he stares at all day at work), he spends an hour or so looking at the spreadsheets when he gets home from work. Loony.

I am an excel nerd.


AHH! Everything I get goes into a spreadsheet now! For primary for opening exercises, the kids do a talk, scripture, Article of Faith, ect. I put that into a spreadsheet so we know who did what when, any lists I need to make---- excel spreadsheet! (that's supposed to sound like Oprah yelling excel spreadsheet) I think about spread sheets, dream about spread sheets, I AM an excel spreadsheet (sorry -- lost my cool there)! I need special and professional help. I just got done grocery shopping and I'm going to put my receipt in an EXCEL SPREADSHEET to compare who has the best prices on certain items....oh Help!!

I saw this hair style on another website and did it for Brooklyn's hair on Sunday.

Wall Art

I found this wall art on sugardoodle (go figure). Anyways it looked way cute so I made some for my bedroom. I spent about $8 dollars on this whole thing. It said to use Styrofoam about an inch thick but I just used a foam board that's 1/2 inch thick (walmart-$2) the cheapest Styrofoam I could find was about $9 and I needed 2 of those. Oh yeah saving money!! :)
Funny random story: I was buying the rubber cement for this project and the cashier at walmart asks me how old my kids are, so I said," four and two" then she scanned the rubber cement and the register beeps and tells her to ask if the person buying that product is over 18. she looks at me for a min and asks, "your over 18 aren't you?" me-,"NO!! and I have a 4 year old! Honestly! I had the kid when I was 13." Ok I didn't say that but I wanted to. :o)

While the cats away the mice will.....clean?

When Cory was gone a few weeks ago I gave myself the task of really organizing and cleaning the kids room. I threw away toys that were broken, those dumb toys you get from kids meals, I found a spoon that I had been missing for a few months, just all kinds of things. But I put the toys into a tote with a picture on it and that is where those toys go. Call me crazy but my kids are awesome at picking up now and I no longer hear "Mom! Where's this toy or that toy?" Because now they are in their assigned boxes. Ok I'm a freak I know!The kids "helped" :) This is in Logan's room, the whole floor is covered in "piles" of toys. Logan wanted a picture of how "cool" his room looked with all of his toys out at once. Brooklyn's room with her food, dishes, and dress up/play things.Logan's closet and the picture below is under his bed. I'm such a dork! Haha!

All done!! -oh and teeth are nasty!

After 3 trips to the dentist, one tooth pulled, one pulpotomy, and seven fillings later, Logan is done with the dentist (ok until his 6 month check up)! This picture is nothing like what my nephew has in his mouth, but still kinda sad.
He has a silver tooth! Sweet! the stuff on the left (so your right) is a spacer. It wraps around the tooth in front, has a space and then a silver pointy thing that goes into the gum to hold the tooth(that hasn't come up yet) in place so it doesn't slide forward and create problems when his 12 yr old molar comes in.
